Companies applying for an authorisation under REACH need to provide information on potential alternatives t o the Annex XIV substances they use.
This information (technical functions, sectors of use, most promising alternatives, reason for rejection of the alternative, etc.) is compiled in an Excel table available on the ECHA website. Alternatives to phthalates, alkylphenol ethoxylates and PMT/vPvM are included.
